X-Ray center(RVG)

When all standard safety precautions are taken, today's X-ray equipment is able to eliminate unnecessary radiation and allows the dentist to focus the X-ray beam on a specific part of the mouth. High-speed film enables the dentist to reduce the amount of radiation the patient receives. A lead body apron covers the body from the neck to the knees and protects the body from stray radiation.

I.C.U. section
Intensive Care Unit (I.C.U.) of Mehta Hospitals is overseen by compassionate, caring staffs who is dedicated to working closely with the necessary physicians and therapist to provide safe, quality patient care. The ICU consists of two monitored beds with new technology and remote monitoring capability for its entire patient. ICU is centered on a mini station that allows nurses to be right outside patients’ rooms. The low nurse/patient ratio in these units optimizes the individualized care each patient receives.

Our Hospital Birth Centre is led by a team of obstetricians and includes midwives, maternity support workers, anesthetists, neonatologists and specialist theatre staff. Other clinical specialists and allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and pharmacists also visit the birth centre as needed.

Warmer for new born babies
Mehta Hospital has Radiant Warmer, is a body warming device to provide heat to the body. This device helps to maintain the body temperature of the baby and limit the metabolism rate. The heat loss in some newborn babies is rapid; hence body warmers provide an artificial support to keep the body temperature constant.
Phototherapy
If your baby has normal (physiological) jaundice, no special treatment is needed.
If your baby's bilirubin level is high, the most commonly used treatment is phototherapy (bright light therapy). It does not contain rays that would harm your baby. Phototherapy is very safe and effective and can be done in our hospital.
